To all engaged and newlywed couples:
We invite you to join us for The Aisle+

An interactive workshop to help you build an emotionally and financially healthy marriage

Engaged and newlywed couples – join us for The Aisle!

The Aisle is an interactive workshop to help engaged and newlywed couples build an emotionally and financially healthy marriage. Workshops are available at no cost twice a year, typically November/December and May/June.

In the first session, participants will have the opportunity to explore their money mindsets and values, and establish shared financial goals, which will help them make financial decisions as a couple. They will also learn how to prepare a written budget and communicate effectively with their future spouse about money.

In the second session, couples learn about and utilize the tenets of Emotionally Focused Therapy. Using the framework of the Building Lasting Connections model, developed by Dr. Debi Gilmore and Dr. Rebecca Jorgensen, participants will better understand themselves and their spouses, and gain deeper insight into the emotional needs of the other, helping to navigate differences in backgrounds and attachment styles. Dr. Muschel will use real-life examples based on the most common areas of conflict among frum Jewish couples, and help demonstrate how to have more effective communication around difficult topics. He will also use his experience to educate the couples on how to adjust to marriage and maintain consistent rituals well into their marriage.
