Full Charge Bookkeeper

Location: New York

Our client in downtown NYC is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper. 

S/he will be working for our Controller and Chief Financial Officer. Duties include complete general ledger responsibility, journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other accounting functions. Knowledge of ADP payroll a plus. Administrative duties will also be a part of the job.

3-5 years of related experience required. Must have experience working with Quickbooks and advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. BA or BS required. Basic Hebrew skills a plus.

Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter. The candidate must also be enthusiastic, hard-working and detail oriented with high degree of accuracy. S/he must have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines as well as possess strong written and verbal skills.
